Must-eats in Victoria, BC

Image
The terrific spots to eat that we found in Victoria. We walked to all of these (except Breakwater since we were in a rush afterwards to get to Beacon Hill and the "running of the goats").  Rebar (fantastic restaurant with a LOT of vegetarian options, set right off the main street in Victoria). We didn't get a picture but they have terrific outdoor and indoor seating. Fisherman’s Wharf (lots of fun options and even we vegetarians found some great stuff - Mexican food!). A fun, colorful spot on docks. We took a water taxi back because we wanted to experience one. Jam (get there early! Some great eateries were located in China Town (see the post on places to eat). Next stop was the Royal BC Museum. The museum was under renovation, so the entry fee was only CA$5 per person. There was still TONS to see. We explored the prehistoric exhibit and watched a terrific IMAX movie on the Hidden Pacific. Ida even lost a tooth from eating some popcor...
