Byron - March 21

We went to the Byron Bay Farmers Market today! There was a loy of great food and juice and then “The Cassettes” turned up - an all-woman dance band. They played loud music wearing 80s garb and danced around. The girls absolutely LOVED it!

Next up was a trip to the beach with Papa Dan and G for me and S and Ii while C (who has a mild cold) stayed at the apartment with Glamma and had a tea party and did art. It did the trick because C was back in action after that! Meanwhile, G and Dan and Ii went swimming in the ocean (lots of big waves and Ii didn’t even have her suit on because she declared “I don’t want to go swimming” and then changed her mind the second she saw the water!). S and I stayed on the shore and made sand castles. Then Dan and S and G played beach bocci ball with the set G found in Agnes Water.

Then pool time with Glamma while Papa Dan and G bba’d the corn and veggie burgers (home made by me!). We had a delightful dinner followed by vanilla ice cream with locally grown passion fruit on top. After Glamma and Papa Dan went back to their apartment, G took C down to the beach (about a 7 minute walk). They saw a wallaby! And a bird and two lizards. And the giant (full moon was yesterday), orange moon rising over the ocean. They came back to excited to tell us all what they saw.

What. A. Day! We are off to Port Macquarie by car tomorrow (4 hour drive)!
