Cerritos, Baja California, Mexico
Having loved our 2017 trip to Mexico, we went there with the same group of friends, but this time going to Cerritos. Cerritos is a beach community about an hour north of Cabo San Lucas (where we flew into). We rented a car from Cactus Car Rental and got on the road. Cerritos was clearly an up-and-coming community with a LOT of construction going on. I suspect this place will be *the* place to go in a few years. The beach was lovely, very kid-friendly and very swimmable. We rented a condo on the top floor of a two-story building. It had a private community pool and our condo had access to the roof-top area. We fell in love with the area, taking a couple of day trips to the town of Todos Santos, just about 20 minutes north of Cerritos. TS is an artist community.
