5 humans, 1 world, lots of adventures!

We spent our final morning eating at Mesa again and then visiting the San Pedro Artisan Market. It was lovely with so much hand made art.  We said our good-byes to Xanadu.  Then off to our Maya Island Air flight, where Opa got to sit as co-pilot! Our flight out of Belize City was delayed so we missed our connecting flight, spent the night at Dallas Fort Worth, flew to Seattle Sunday morning and rented a car to drive to Portland. Our Seattle flight was a 6am flight again so we had another pre-4am morning. 

The kids really wanted their hair braided so on the very last afternoon, we reached out to Mel, whose street ad we saw! It was quite painful, especially the tiny french braided rows on top of the short-haired kids! But they got through and their hair looks amazing!!! Mel even popped one in Grandma’s hair for good fun! Too bad for me, my hair was an uncombable sunscreen, sweat, saltwater, chlorine mess! 

The majority of people, it seems, get around by golf cart. Think rides to school. Traffic jams. And constant go-cart sounds!! Fueling up! And the mayhem! And parking!
